Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil Review

The Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil comes in 8 shades, and mine was Mahogany, which is described as a “mid-tone ash brown”. This implies that it has a slight grey tone, which is something I favour as I feel it’s more natural and flattering.

This is also a retractable, slanted brow pencil, as you will see below, and comes in a very handy packaging and size with the pencil at one end, and a spoolie brush at the other. But did it replace my HG?

The contours of the pencil mean you can line and shape the brows with the pointed edge, or add soft colour with the flat side. It’s all very easy to navigate even for a brow-amateur like me.

Unfortunately the short answer is no. I will still go back to the Hourglass Arch brow pencil in a heartbeat, but not because this isn’t a good product. I think it is pretty good, and if you aren’t the sort who wants to take your chances with online shopping then this is a very welcome substitute.

This is one of the few products I can’t live without. I’ve tried so many brow pencils, powders and gels over the years and this is the only one that is portable and very easy to use. In less than a minute, I can make my brows look fabulous. It doesn’t snap either. Although the price is steep, it lasts a very long time.

But if you don’t have the Hourglass Arch Brow Pencil within contemplation, and are in the market for a good, long wearing brow pencil, take a look at this one from Bobbi Brown. It’s pricey initially, but it will last a long time, and is easy to use.
